Welcome
This is The Art of Paralytics, or you can just call it "TAP" if you think the full name sounds morbid. This site is currently under construction. It may seem like there are only a few pages right now, but that's just because there are several pages I'm currently working on that aren't done. But trust me, this page is going to have tons of information on it as I continue to expand it. It is a brand new creation at the moment, but I have great plans for it.
Paralysis is an unseen but very powerful force that has both saved and devastated lives. It is much like consciousness; people can try to see and learn about it in others, but it can only be truly known and felt by the individual which it affects. It can take many forms and has an infinitely vast number of ways by which it may come into existence.
The purpose of this site is to inform people about this fascinating phenomenon from a different point of view. It is not an ordinary informative site, but rather a site created by a single person who is endlessly amazed by it. My goal is to provide this information in a way that is both interesting to read and easy to understand.
DISCLAIMER: I am a single human being, 18 years old, who has just started college. I aim to have as accurate information on this site as possible, but I'm also a teenage girl with no medical degree (yet). There is no guarantee that the information on this site is 100% accurate. I don't recommend you cite this website as a source for anything. This is an example of one of those "personal webpage" sites that you're not supposed to cite. I'm not a scientific corporation; I'm a girl sitting in front of her laptop typing this when she has free time. If you're writing your dissertation to get a PhD and looking for a scholarly source to cite, this site is not for you! However, if you want to learn things for yourself, welcome!
Another disclaimer: You may see some of this same exact information on a website called anesthesia-1.com. I am helping create that website as well, so it's completely allowed to be there.
