Just in case you happen to be a student studying to either become a physician or a nurse anesthetist and you have to learn this stuff, I am going to compile a whole bunch of practice questions involving neuromuscular blocking agents that I have found over the years.

- Atracurium and cisatracurium undergo Hofmann elimination and therefore do not rely on renal or hepatic elimination
- Pancuronium is primarily eliminated through renal excretion
- Vecuronium is metabolized in the liver
- Succinylcholine and mivacurium are broken down by pseudocholinesterase. If there is a pseudocholinesterase deficiency or anything at all that prevents proper functioning of pseudocholinesterase their durations will be prolonged.
